Hi, I’m Beccy. I’m an experienced Creative Producer, working at the intersection of art, culture & social purpose.

I have worked for organisations including the British Film Institute, Toronto International Film Festival, Amnesty International & BBC Media Action.

Most recently I have been working with DocSociety, AKO Storytelling Institute, The Roundhouse, Sheffield DocFest, Everyman Cinemas, & consulting for Film in Mind’s Documentality.

I have a cross-disciplinary approach, specialising in Film, Theatre & Participatory Public Arts.

Driven by creativity, collaboration and community, I specialise in producing memorable experiences, impactful projects & campaigns.

2006 – 2022

I have worked with a range of cultural organisations as a Creative Producer. Previous clients & collaborators include: Everyman Cinemas, Sheffield DocFest, Toronto International Film Festival, Arrow Films, Somerset House, Women in Film & Television, Secret Cinema, Amnesty International, BBC Media Action, The Royal Society of Arts, Open City Documentary Festival, Ice & Fire, Tender

I have produced & facilitated participatory theatre projects in schools, prisons & community settings, across the UK & Internationally.

My work has explored themes such as restorative justice, human rights, refugee and asylum seeker rights, the climate crisis, gender, LGBTQIA+ identify, domestic violence & mental health.

 

Together Films

2017 – 2022

Together Films is a marketing, distribution & data agency, exploring hybrid distribution models. As Impact & Events Director my role was to ensure that creative content reached its target audience to achieve major social & political impact. I specialised in developing strategic partnerships, curating bespoke events & campaign activations.

Previous campaigns include: Hostile, Free Renty: Lanier V Harvard, Through the Night, In My Blood It Runs, The 8th, 2040, Coded Bias, Irene’s Ghost, The Tale, Unrest.

 

British Film Institute

2010–2017

As Events & Production Manager (2014-2017), I oversaw all event production & delivery for the BFI Southbank cultural programme, red carpet premieres, private hires, partner events and festivals, ensuring consistently excellent standards of production and delivery.

Prior to this position, I worked extensively on the BFI London Film Festival (2010-2014) holding positions in Guest Services & Industry Events.

I have an MA in Applied Theatre from Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, and BA (Hons) in Social & Cultural Studies from the University of Nottingham. I am a Birds Eye View Future Leaders in Distribution alumni, and a member of the Global Impact Producers Group.
